Our base for the week is Cioch House in Roybridge, and arrival should be on the Friday afternoon / evening.

Day 1 Saturday We depart Roybridge at 9.00 am and head for Buachille Etive Mor at the entrance to Glencoe.

Day 2 Sunday

Today is an early rise as we take the 8am train from Roybridge into the remote Rannoch moor, where we will walk back from Corrour station on the moor, to Glen Nevis.

We head east to Monarch of the Glen country, where we will take in the Creag Meagaidh nature reserve and the 'Munro' itself.

Day 4 (Tuesday)

Today is an easier days walking, where we will take in the last section of The West Highland Way long distance footpath, finishing in Fort William, allowing time for some local site seeing.

Day 4 (Wednesday)

We head up into Glen Roy, taking in the geologically intersting 'Parallel Roads' with some fine walking..

Day 5 (Thursday)

Ascent of Ben Nevis, Britains highest mountain.

We will either use the normal Tourist path route, or we may do route by the ascent of Carn Mor Dearg and the Arete, depending on numbers, and skill level, then on to the top of The Ben, and descend by the normal tourist path.

The views of the great North Face of Ben Nevis from Carn Mor Dearg are spectacular.
